From one of the driest parts of the world to one of the wettest. We managed to finally escape the covid lockdowns and venture overseas to visit our son and his family in Seattle. Washington State (WA) is a picturesque landscape full of mountains and lakes, with evidence of past glacier activity everywhere. It is also home to Boeing and some of the biggest tech companies in the world – Google, Facebook, Amazon and Apple. A wonderful contrast to our own WA (Western Australia).
